The breakfast spread was fantastic, offering a variety of delicious options. It kept our teen kids happy and full for our daily adventures! The location was perfect, allowing easy access to all the main attractions, and we truly enjoyed the spacious room that accommodated us well.

The location was excellent, just a short walk from iconic sites like Las Ramblas and Port Vell. Staff were consistently friendly and attentive, contributing to a welcoming atmosphere. Breakfast exceeded expectations, especially compared to other dining experiences. However, the room cleanliness could be improved, and some areas felt a bit dated.

The balcony of our room was a lovely spot to unwind after exploring the city, and the breakfast spread was definitely the best way to start our day. I loved relaxing by the rooftop pool and enjoying the cozy lounge areas. both were perfect for winding down. The bathroom could use a bit of freshening up, but this truly didn’t take away from our enjoyable stay. 😊

We explored the Gothic Quarter and checked out the markets near La Rambla. The location is perfect, close to the metro and numerous restaurants. Breakfast is great, but the highlight was the friendly staff that made our stay even better!
We experienced a bit of a delay during check-in, which was kind of frustrating after our travel.

The colonial-style decor grabbed my attention right away, making the place feel like a unique launchpad for exploring. A standout feature was the excellent location in the Gothic Quarter, granting easy access to historical landmarks and vibrant streets just a short stroll away.
However, the noise from the street was a real issue, especially from a glass recycling station located right outside the window that rocked late into the night. The internet connection? It was slow and patchy, a real hassle for folks wanting to keep in touch or navigate their adventures. Additionally, some amenities felt lacking, like no coffee or tea-making facilities, which can be a real drag when you're trying to wake up in the morning. The mattress was firmer than I'd prefer, leading to some restless nights—definitely something to consider for light sleepers.

Our stay was primarily to explore the local attractions and nearby sights, which were conveniently within walking distance. The vibrant dining scene around the area was a highlight, with excellent tapas and a lively bar atmosphere perfect for unwinding. The staff were incredibly helpful, offering great tips for local dining options in the Gothic Quarter. However, I was a bit disappointed with the coffee supply in the room. just one sachet for two guests felt a bit stingy. Overall, it was a pleasant experience with a few minor bumps.

Perfect for couples looking for comfort
The staff were incredibly friendly, accommodating my every need from the moment I arrived! ! Also, the breakfast was much better than expected—seriously, how do they make eggs taste that good?
It wasn’t exactly inexpensive, but still reasonable for what you get.

I booked a room in Hotel Colonial in the Gothic Quarter and was happy with the welcoming staff who helped with our luggage. The room was clean and spacious, which I appreciated. It's a fantastic location for exploring, with many restaurants nearby and close to key attractions. The breakfast had a decent variety but felt a bit limited. WiFi in my room was slow, which was frustrating. While the room was nice, I missed having coffee or tea facilities. Also, the shower had a minor leak. Despite these issues, my stay was pleasant, and I enjoyed the local vibe of the area.

The dining scene around Hotel Colonial is a feast for the senses. I absolutely loved Kosmobar's tapas and the world-famous seasoned fries at Bacoa! Plus, the welcoming vibe at the hotel bar made for perfect unwinding after a day of culinary adventures. The staff were super helpful, guiding us to local spots in the Gothic Quarter where we chowed down on some of the best eats.
But hold up—just one sachet of coffee for two guests? C'mon, I shouldn't have to beg for more! And while the shower was decent enough, it could’ve been a bit more luxurious. The pillows were just okay, not the cozy clouds I was hoping for. All in all, a few bumps but the food scene makes it all worthwhile.
